What this site is about, and how to reach us — whether you've found a hidden gem we should know about or you're building one yourself.

What is Hidden Save?

Hidden Save is a showcase for indie games on Steam — the kind made without millions in budget, by small teams and solo developers. Some are well known, plenty aren't; the bar is simply that they're worth your time, and I have a soft spot for the ones that slipped past the charts.

  • A curated list, not an algorithm

No algorithm — Hidden Save is a one-person project, and every game here was added by hand. Most I've played; a few are coming-soon titles I'm keeping an eye on. Hit Randomize for a fresh batch each visit.

  • Explore without leaving

Trailers, screenshots, descriptions, prices, and review scores all render right here on the site — browse a game's whole media set before you ever open Steam.

  • Shared advertising

As I put money into advertising Hidden Save, that spend doesn't just promote the site — it promotes every game on it. Each ad drives people here, and everyone who arrives lands on a page built to showcase the catalog. So being listed means your game rides along on that exposure: advertising for the site is advertising for the games on it.

  • Reviews, not just listings

The Reviewed tab collects the games I've reviewed on video — each card leads with the review, so you can hear why a game is worth your time before you read a single word.

  • A soft spot for the overlooked

Plenty of these are well known; plenty aren't. The Obscure tab surfaces the least-known corner of the catalog, and the homepage always reserves a slot for a deep cut you've probably never heard of.

  • Featured games get the spotlight

Featured games are weighted into the top slot on the homepage with a gold spotlight treatment, so they get noticeably more views than the rest of the catalog.

Want your game on Hidden Save?

Send it my way. I add games I've played and genuinely enjoyed, so a Steam key just lets me take a proper look — it's not a guarantee of a spot. If it clicks, it can earn a review and a turn in the featured spotlight.
